Seriously? I'd get weapons and whatever money or even valuables I had around and rush to a store to get canned food and fresh water and amunition before the riotting started and the dollar dropped in value below blank writing paper.
With the primary work tool of the world non-functional, distrabution, finance and even public utilities would fail pretty quickly. Considdering how few people own a radio or a landline phone millions would be without information about what's going on. The panic would be here-to-fore unimaginable. Police and fire would have a limited ability to co-ordinate and streets would be jammed with people trying to reach loved ones. I
I'd sit at home and pop in a CD and read a book until the power died out.

I almost did that. For the first 15 years of my life every morning I woke up there was no TV and no computer... in the sense of desk top or lap top. I did have a phone, not a cell phone all were land line/attached to a line, to a line, to a switchboard to a line, etc. I will say that I would have loved to have had a computer in Grad School...wow! I could get along without TV...kind of a balancing act between scourge and educational delight.

I would wonder if something had happened to my light bill. Think the power is out. Try to figure out how to contact someone to find out.

I was here before computer were around. So I guess I wouldn't be able to do my job. The TV I'm sure wouldn't take long to be re invented so more time outside like the good ol days. And the phone is the same, someone will invent it soon so until then I write more letters like I used to.

I would honestly miss the computer and the TV more than the phone, I could do with the silence.
I learned after going through Hurricane Katrina and living without electricity for three weeks that I can pretty much make it without all that stuff. Having lost my mom six months after Katrina, I can live without most material things, my family is so much more important.

It would mean more time to reflect on myself. It would also mean that i need to meet people personally to interact with them. This would make things better if I stay in a community where all my loved one's stay together but it would also make me unhappy for the people that I cannot get in touch with. This would create a world which has no knowledge of the rest of the world; the achievements, the disasters, the wars, etc. It would not be a desirable place to live in.

No computer, no tv or no phone...

Well I guess no more po_n or XXX....!!!! lol

I am not a big fan of TV, or computer or really telephone. I guess I would just find other things to amuse myself. Maybe join a cult, give up the rest of my possesions, and just sit on top of a mountain meditating!

Happiness! No more loud television, no more Simpson's or Family Guy, woohoo! I am going deaf, but man, not that deaf.
I don't hate any of those things, heck we have them all.I would open a book/stationary store. People would read a lot more and write letters too. The only problem I see would be, no telephones, darn handy phones in emergencies. I would like it though if cell phone were nonexistent. I hate when people use their cell phones when driving. What could be so important, that can't wait until you get to your destination ?

I wouldn't be frightened. I have lived without electricity before, so being without a phone, TV (which I don't have at the moment anyway), or a computer wouldn't be such a tough thing.

Astonished. And I should realized that time is a period of ancient time.
I'll find my neighbour who can make television, computer, phone, and going manufacturing. Being the first Bill Gates at that time.
