In general, men and women think differently when it comes to making a buying decision. Selling to men is different than selling to women, and getting a business deal to close is different with men and women.

In general, women are more relationship oriented and men are more transaction oriented. This is something to understand if you are aiming the marketing of a product to women or to men. However, on an individual basis, you need to better understand your intended customer/trading partner, since stereotypes do not always apply.

Subconciously (or consciously), people know when they have the upper hand. If I know a deal is more important to you than it is to me, I am more likely to hold out to get whatever terms or pricing I want. Gender really doesn't have much to do with it.

I feel a lady will handle a biz deal better than man. 1st of all, I think they'll clinch the deal easier especially the other party is a male. Woman are more careful and they take care of everything, even the smallest details. Furthermore, I feel guys have more "extra agenda" behind biz dealings.. They maybe looking for things which are advantages to them rather than really concentrating on the deal. I believe woman are more detailed, careful and will look into the other party needs or wants in the deal. Woman negotiate better too.
Let's face it, a pretty or attractive woman will always have the upper hand when dealing wif a male counterpart. She does not need to sell her body to get the deal. She only need to talk and the guy will agree to everything..

Most likely yes. For some reason, men feel they have the upper hand when it come to cunning and negotiation and things like that. They feel that women don't have either enough sense or common knowledge to handle thing of that nature.

It is amazing how more and more peoples lives seem to be the determining factor in their decision making process. There is so much stress and angst out there that it seems to creep more and more into the whole process. Sex discrimination is losing a valiant fight in the battle for the subconcious
