he has a bad history. the cowboys are no exception. people say this and that about bill parcels. its all wishful thinking because he's never had an idiot like owens before, and no keyshon doesn't count because he's NOOOOOOOT EVEN CLOSE TO OWENS IN BAD ADDITUDED.
owen's i won't say as already started, but he's showing signs. and its true what many say. glenn's gonna get all the catches-so what's owens gonna start pulling after the first time he and glenn play together and glenn gets all the yards and td's? we all know what he's gonna do...me me me me me me. why didn't i get the ball..me me me me me.
and then what? will parcells have the guts to bench him? probably not. he'll make up some excuse as to why he didn't bench him. yeah whatever.
i say it will work out for the year. but owens will be gone by the end of the season.

All of the hype about TO vs Parcells will go away, If the Cowboys win. It's funny how when teams are winning, the players get along famously. The wheels came off in Philly after the Superbowl loss.
Several have made the point that Owens is a class "A" nut job, and you'll get no debate from me, but Lawrence Taylor was as goofy as a football bat, and Parcells was able to get the best out of him.
I think TO and Parcells are a lot alike. They both have HUGE egos and both live for Sunday. They just need to start playing.
One final point: Many have voiced the opinion that Jerry Jones is an idiot. I disagree. Four years ago, Dallas was 5-11 and out of the playoffs, yet all anyone could talk about was the speculation that Parcells was coming out of retirement and headed to Dallas.
Now, watch ESPN on any given day and compare how many times you hear about the Cowboys vs. any other team, including the Steelers. Jones is not the best football guy, but he's a marketing genius. At least he's not Dan Snyder.

I'm saying what has probably been said a thousand times. "Tuna" won't put up with anymore crap from T.O. Jerry Jones just might find himself without a coach if this keeps up. No player is worth this kind of aggravation. All T.O. is doing is what he did in both San Fran and Philadelphia, just seeing how far he can push the envelope. T.O.'s problem is that he has great difficulty with authority. He really thinks he's better than everyone else and that the team rules don't apply to him. I'd really like to see Parcells walk out. Now that would be news!!!!!

T.O. who? On the field (assuming he ever actually gets on the field) a definate asset. Like parcells said though if he dosen't practice he dosen't play. I think he has T.O. and his ego in check. It's like a child and a parent situation where the child tries to test the boundries of authority. Parcell's won't play that game. Besides I don't think T.O. is the best receiver on the team anyway. Terry Glenn and Bledsoe are in serious sync, granted it's preseason, but damn they might actually get it together this year. As a cowboys fan I can seriously say I really don't care if he plays or not...the boys be loaded at wr this year.

definitely more trouble than he's worth. I don't think the teams, coaches, and players actually believe the stories about what a tool he truly is until he's on their team.
back in the day, the team would have taken care of this idiot themselves; but with free agency and guaranteed money, etc, this doesn't happen anymore.
despite everything I just said; the guy can flat out dominate - which is why teams keep taking chances with him. I say he does play this year and gets Dallas to ten wins and possibly the playoffs. No one can match up with him when he wants to play.

I think his ego is going to get in the way.
The man can play football, I'll give him that, but he also KNOWS he can play, and he let that get to his head.
I think that the only way he'll be an asset to the Cowboys is if he his humbled quite a bit, and I don't see that happening until there is no team who is willing to put up with his antics.
I believe he'll end up getting fired.

If TO could only shut up and keep his Ego in check he could go down as one of, if not the greatest reciever of all time. But instead he is an idiot and i wouldnt want him on my team even if he paid the team to play. He is a Cancer on any team he goes to, i would much rather have a Marvin Harrison or Hines Ward. Locker room is very important in football and TO is not a locker room guy...

He is an incredible talent with a lot of heart at crunch time (remember his Super Bowl performance?), but he is also a guy who KNOWS how good he is, making him into a sort of prima donna who is being viewed more and more as a boil on the butt of the NFL. I hope he matures this year and does well for if he doesn't, he may run himself out of football altogether with his attitude problem.

The Big Tuna will realize what San Fran and Philly got to experience first hand, TO is nothing but addition by subtraction. The punk is nothing but trouble, him and his crappy agent. Yeah, he'll get catches, but soon he'll rub the coaches wrong and then he'll mess with the other players and polarize the team. he's a worthless a**hole and if he couldn't catch balls he would be in the projects drinking 40's.
