I thought we don't do bussiness with enemies?

Sez who? Who told you that we don't? The reason we buy ol from them is because they're selling it to us. Wake up. Why would you want to isolate a supposed enemy? The best thing to do is engage in commercial enterprise and help them develop and start a dialogue and, hopefully, win them over.

Hey, in case you didn't know, America has too many enemies!

The U.S doesn't need any body's oil, lets get that right. The U.S. has more oil them all country's.The reason why we buy oil from them so we can sell it to country's that can't get it on their own. Remember , most of them country's don't have the ships to get the oil.That's been going on for a long time.

Because the US can't afford to do anything against a country that provides us with oil. That'd be suicidal for us.
