i think its pretty sick that in our society a woman journalist has to be doctored to make her look like a stupid supermodel. i dont see them doctoring any of the men photos to make them look better (anybody seen andy rooney lately?)

Good call. I was going to post question too. Not a very "honest" way to start out as an evening news anchor that is expecting to earn our trust.

Maybe it wasn't her decision. I remember when that was done to Paula Abdul in one of her music videos.

As it was done without her knowledge and/or consent, I cannot blame Katie. But, I have done editing like this on my own photos (in my wedding pictures, I have hair!). :-)

They should have asked her.

To be fair, she didn't know that the photo was altered, the photo dept at CBS took that liberty...give her a break.
