the first time my ex cheated on me it was with a close friend of ours that was living with us. i wa stupid and gave him a second chance...and he did it again. needless to say he now has about 13 children by 13 different women (his oldest is 12 and his youngest is 2 months) and he's been married for the past two months! and his wife only knows about their three year old...So ONCE A CHEATER, ALWAYS A CHEATER!!!!!!!!

It seems like, with the guys i've known and the friends' boyfriends I've known, that yes, it is true, but it's always so much easier to see a situation in black and white when you're not in it. Guys say things and do things to make you feel guilty or at fault for their actions sometimes. I've had a boyfriend that used every male stereotype as an excuse for his actions. "But I was scared to be with you," "but I was afraid of our love, so I backed out for a while," "but I'm not ready for this serious relationship," you know, things that make you think you're applying too much pressure. But your sister needs to realize that she is beautiful and a strong, strong woman that is in no way forcing her boy to cheat. 7 times? She deserves so much better. Hope a guy comes and swoops her off her feet. :)

human beings continually say this, yet i do not trust it. i imagine it relies upon on the stages of intimacy, dedication, and fervour in a courting. If both companions are satisfied and satisfied with the help of the period of the courting, then a previous cheater should be honest. I do, even if, imagine that its fairly confusing for a courting to make a comeback after someone has cheated.

I don't think once a cheater always a cheater. But it does make you question his character.

People must have some motivation to change their past behavior. Unless you sister, or the relationship, is different than what he experienced in the past, I agree that the past may repeat itself.
Your sister cannot change him; he must want to change and act accordingly.
Good luck!
