Good question . My favorite film is The Road Warrior . The sequal to Mad Max . In the USA it was called Road Warrior because the first film didnt do so well here.Where it was made in Austrailia , its called Mad MAx 2 .The central character Max , a road cop with a reputation for eliminating criminals , lost his wife and son , run down in the road by a nomadic biker gang in the first film , between Mad Max and Road Warrior things have fallen apart it the world , gas in short supply . nations went to war and "Touched of a blaze which engulfed them all , The thundering machines sputterd and stopped . Thier leaders talked & talked , but nothing could stem the avalanche . A firestorm of fear " so basically sort of like where this world is headed now . But the character Max , was good at heart .He wandered the wasteland and ends up helping a group of people that have a compound w/ an oil refinery . He ultimately is used to draw an evil army that is bent on getting the peaceful peoples gasoline , away from the compound ,.The good people escape in the opposite direction as Max drives a gas rig and is chased by the army on thier motor cycles and wild cars , it is probably the best chase in film history . The gas rig ends up being filled with sand ...it is a really spooky feeling now adays to see world events and see this work of art come to life ... It may happen , I pray not , but If it did , I would be good hearted like Max , but still be able to kick **** like he did and help those in need .Incidently there was a 3rd film w/ Tina Turner , Mad Max : Beyond Thunderdome , it was ok . Rent The Road Warrior , give it a chance , it may open your eyes abit ...

It's hard to narrow it down, but I think overall my favorite movie would have to be Sense and Sensibility. Some of my other favorites include Serenity, Amelie, The Princess Bride, Mirrormask, Army of Darkness, Big Fish, Office Space, Toy Story, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Moll Flanders, The Crow, The Shawshank Redemption, V for Vendetta, and a bunch of others I know I'm forgetting.

"Casablanca" because I happen to be a very romantic, passionate person who enjoys romantic love stories. My other favorite movie is "Thirteen" even though I'm no longer a teenager, but I can relate to that movie either way, because I have a son who will one day grow into a teen and I want to try and help him grow up to avoid any of the bad stuff that Evan Rachel Wood & Nikki Reed go through in the film. I see many teens today doing the kinds of things that were depicted in the movie and it's harrowing and scary to watch and grow up around.
