Foam in a hot tub is caused by accumulation of body oils and organic matter that is not removed by the filter system. The best way to remove it is to drain and refill you hot tub, and then use adequate chlorine to keep spa clean. Chlorine in combination with a small amount of HCl will decompose the oranics and prevent them from foaming. You need to treat your hot tub just as you would a swimming pool.

Your spa dealer has got some cheap stuff and if you read the ingrediants you can get them cheap elsewhere the way I remember it. The best way to eliminate the problem is to stop having sex in there.
