Go to support.dell.com
Enter either the express service code or the model number for the laptop
Select User's Guide
You will see instructions for all kinds of repairs. Look for the Display group
Should have set by set instructions for removing and replacing the display. That should show you were the screws are so you can tighten the display

I dunno if this is similar to what I experienced. I am using a Inspiron 9300. Based on your description, I can only guess what is happening on your end. the enclosure for the screen was splitting at the side in my case. I unplug the rubber stud on found on the bottom left corner (since the split is occuring on this side) and there was a loose screw. Simply tightening it solved the problem.

take it to a computer shop where it can be fixed corectly
