I live in a small hick town, and there's this celebrity who had a one-hit-wonder from the 90s; who works out at the same gym I go to. I so badly wanna go up to him and ask him for a picture on my camera phone. Should I do it? I'd die if he said no in front of all of the other gym members.

His name is Montel Jordan. I didn't even know it was him until another gym member told me.

Two suggestions:

1) Don't ask him while he is working out in his gym clothes. Ask him when he is entering or leaving the gym, outside vs. inside.

2) Be polite. Say, "excuse me, may I get a picture with you, if you have the time?" Be familiar with the picture taking so that you don't waste their time.

If he says no, say "OK, thanks" or something similar. And then try to ignore him when you see him at the gym from then on. You don't want to get the reputation of being a stalker.

To ask a celebrity to take a picture with you:

1. BE YOURSELF.
2. Introduce yourself.
3. Ask how the person is doing.
4. Ask them if they would be so kind to take a picture with you.

Speak with the owner of the gym and explain this. He might be able to help you. This way you are not bothering him and it will save you from feeling centered out in front of everyone else.
Just one picture now ok? Good luck hun.

don't worry, it's not a bad thing. celebrities are just regular people too, and working out is something you can do in your free time, so he'll most likely say yes. just walk up to him when he isn't busy, like when he's taking a break, and say "hi, i'm a big fan of yours. can i get a picture of us?" even if he does say no, you can say that you talked to a celebrity lol

Most celebs are very willing to allow you to take a picture with them, and if they are not, do you really want the picture? Without their fans, they'd be nobody....give it a try, it WON'T kill you and you'll be the only one who knows if he denies you the picture...good luck!

I always walk up and verify that they are the celebrity. For example, if it's Brittany; I'll usually say, "Brittany?" If she looks up and at me, then I say, "Hi, my name is Tony. I am a big fan of yours. Would mind if I took a picture with you?"
