Ok, it seems as if you are not happy with this approach. Why don't you schedule a conference with this teacher to discuss this. As a parent, I like the thought that my child can always know what and when things are expected. I think you are a student, who is chaffing at being told that there will be no excuse for slacking. Get over it and do the work!

I get the whole concept of homework, but it annoys me when they load their students with tons of homework. Some teachers should understand that students have other classes too. Just because the teacher doesn't have anything better to do than to grade work all day doesn't mean that the students dont have a life as well.

I think I've done more work than that and I was only in the 7th Grade. Now I'm in the 8th. On the first day of school last year, I already had to start typing my homework on the computer and later on (Like in the middle of September) I had to do projects!

No, I think she is doing her job, she wants to make sure that her students know Trigonometry . Which in its self is no easy subject.
