It's difficult to narrow the field to "the Best" but in terms of Anti-virus I would choose either McAfee or Norton.
For anti-spyware then Bitdefender is good but there are a host of others that are free and also good such as ad-aware etc.

Many people have many different opinions. I suggest using some trial version sof a few first and decide for your situation. Kaspersky is one that I use, has an on line scan and a 30 day full free trial. MacAfee is One fo the best in the US, PC Cillin is up there too (these two fight for first all the time), Nortons however has fallen from top in the nation to 3rd all round due to recent security flaws (back in February). I'm not sure about BitDefender being the best anti-virus/anti-
spyware protection software. But, I assure you that one of the
best anti-virus/anti-spyware protection software is "zone-alarm
security suite". Presently, I'm using it and it really worked for
me. Try it today, trust me!

Hi,
The best anti-virus and spyware out there today is Norton. I have been using it for years and it keeps my computer safe. It let's me know when some one is try to access my computer and I can decide whether or not to let them. Of course you have to renew your member ship every year but it is worth the price.

the ideal loose firewall is computing device procedures firewall plus, the ideal loose anti virus is AVG 7.5, the ideal loose anti secret agent ware is Spybot search for and damage . you also choose Ccleaner to move the crap .

bit defender av is not the best but it better than norton n mcaffee n it free. but actualy AVG is the best.
