Because of the utter stupidity of a friend, I now find myself being forced into a duel at dawn with another, for the key to his heart.
I am looking for a pistol that would be up to the job... something with a good amount of precision... some say I'm a crack shot, but to date, only shot clay pigeons and pheasants, nothing else. Does anyone know where one can procure such an item at short notice within the UK... sensible answers only please, this is a matter of life and death.

Sensible questions only please.
There is a world of difference between shooting a scattergun or shotgun and shooting a pistol.
Duelling with pistols is prohibited by a number of laws, not to mention being incredibly stupid.
Muster some self-respect. If this is a joke question, perhaps you should try the paintball store, or one of those watergun super soakers.
If it is not a joke question, simply disassociate yourself from the "friend".

it's not a proper duel unless your friend challenged you by slapping you with a glove, and you chose the weapons to use.
otherwise it's just a fight.
