Its funny that the one thing that hurts the most is what will help the most!!! Walking! As for the sex - is it the sex itself, or is it his semen, or my orgasm because I am having a difficult time climaxing.

I am with you. I am 36 weeks and ready to have this over with. This is my second pregnancy in the summer too. I am always hot. We have actually had really cool weather the last 3 days, today only 71, but may as well be 91. I go to the dr. tomorrow and hope he tells me that things are moving along too. I figure after tomorrow's appointment I will start walking like there is no tomorrow.

I am 36 weeks i have been walking having sex riding the lawn mower hoping the vibration will make me start contracting nothing has worked so far.I am going thru some major back pain i cried all day yesterday and last night i don't know what to do i feel your pain though i am completly miserable and don't know how much more i can take.I really don't think any of these things people suggest works if your body isn't ready it just isn't and you can't force things.

Girl I feel your pain. I am 36 weeks pregnant. I am dialated to 2 and 70 % effaced. The baby dropped and I feel like I am going to die any minute. Having sex is painful and uncomfortable now. I am completely and utterly miserable and also need advice on how to get this thing moving along. This is my second child and they say you go faster with the second one but come on... How long do I have to wait. My contractions aren't hard, they are barely noticable and I don't know when to go to the hospital. Last time I hardly had any time at all to get there. I am ready to get this over with.

I know how you feel , although it has been a few years since I had my last child...But I heard that walking will help the little one to come out and I mean walking either outddoors or just walk around your house....I could tell when I was ready because I would go on a cleaning frenzy...and isn't being pregnant over the summer so much fun !!!!!!! Good Luck

yea my baby was always low and dropped at 28 weeks and im 33 wks and is causing my pelvic to start spreading early. boy can i say uncomfortable! i swell up so bad i cant even grasp anything in my hands or walk. i went to VA and DC and swole up like a beach ball. my feet looked like hamburger patties. one day at a cookout i sweated so bad when i finally had enough and got up to go find somewhere cool to sit the chair was completely soaking wet. it was so embarrasing. but walking alot will get the ball moving and having sex does the trick also.

With the sex, it's both.
His semen can ripen your cervix.
Your orgasm can cause contractions which could turn into labor.
Honestly, all babies do eventually come out. Try to be patient and trust your body and your baby.

Walking & squatting positions both help the baby move on down, and sex helps the uterus start contracting. Sperm will also help the cervix to start thinning out. Good luck!!

I feel the pain for ya. Have sex, that helps to push things along. Have plenty of sex, hell your water might break while you're doing it. It happened to my friend. Good luck.
