The possible problems are Power difference and the PAL system compared to the US NTSC system.

Yes it would, you might have to buy an adapter for the plug. I'm not sure if you can play Australian games on it though.

The old 80 gb (now $400, similar as xbox elite) can play ps1 and ps2 video games, notwithstanding the recent one hundred twenty gig type is largely a 40 gig with an improve, because it lacks each and each of the coolest factors the 40 gig also lacked. meaning no ps2 video games (yet conceivable play ps1 video games) no memory card readers, 2 USB ports, and so on.

I don't see why not. I think the power supply can take higher current.
