yesterday i was sitting down and all the sudden my underwear got wet but when i went to the bathroom it was a sticky feeling and it had a little brown in it!!also i have not been leaking anythinmg today so what could this be??

This is a mucus clot that comes out prior to labor, so you'd better start moving and go to the ER.

Assuming you are at the end of your pregnancy, you tend you have more mucus at this time. With my last pregnancy I had to wear panty liners all the time. I never lost my mucus plug until they broke my water in the delivery room, but from what others have told me there is no mistaking it. It is supposed to be pretty big, and if you water had broke there would be a constant leak or a huge gush, no mistaking that either.

My wife had this same thing happen with her last pregnancy. You lost part of your mucus plug and you should not worry about this unless it continues for a few days. It is usually caused by over exertion in the later part of the pregnancy. Just take it easy for a few days and you should be fine. If it remains a problem then you should call your doctor. Good luck

Call your doctor. It could have been your mucus plug. Depending on how far along you are you may want to go to the ER. I lsot my mucus plug at 21 weeks and lost my baby girl the next morning.

You could be, however, if your water did break you would have a constant leak. I would contact your dr and see what they say. When I lost my mucous plug, I also felt water and I lost a huge chunk of pink material.
To be sure, contact your obgyn....

congrats you have lost your mucus plug. now you have any where from two weeks to two days till your little on gets here. this useualy happens when your baby drops (moving into the birthing position) so you have not to much longer good luck

Mucus, it is much heavier during pregnancy, this is very common many women have so much discharge thay have to wear panty liners. You will know when your water breaks, no question.

Well I take it that you're pregnant. If it's close to your due date then I'd say that you are in the early stages of labor. It's your mucus plug.

this happened to me about 1 month ago and i was scared so i went to the hospital but it wasnt my water breaking i had been having sex and thats what caused the liquid stuff

could be meconium aka baby poop just consult a doctor to be safe but when your water breaks you will know it casue there is 500+ml of water in there
