Have any of you been on the pill and missed a couple and then didn't have your period? I have been on the pill for 9 years and this isn't the first month that I missed a couple of pills, but it is the first time my period hasn't come. I took 2 HPT's and both came back negative. My last period was July 26. Could I be pregnant and it's just too early to tell or could there be another cause? I know that stress is one possible cause, but again this has never happened to me (although I do tend to stress over the little things). I guess there's a first time for everything though. Serious advice and responses only please.

Felt crampy on the day my period was supposed to start.
When I miss a pill or two I have never had any spotting and this time was no different.

Usually when I miss two in a row, I start spotting. I just continue taking them though. (take 2 at one time) Stress can affect your period though. There are so many variables though. If you don't start soon, go to the doctor and get a pregnancy test to be sure.

I strongly suggest you see a Dr. anyhow because sometimes the pill has a mind of it's own especially if we messed up and missed a couple of times. see a DR!

it could still be early, but i would think that a test would show up. did you have a blood test? stress could be it too, just ask your doctor you will figure it out. good luck
