im just curious what other people think ... Ive noticed most gurls my age(16) and even younger have had sex. Why dont people wait?Im not a prude but I think 16 is too young.

You are right that 16 is too young. The world would be a better place if more thought like you. Sex is a serious matter and deserves to be taken seriously: it is hardly a subway ride. The more mature the individual, the less he/she wants to rush into it. One may consider it a purely biological phenomenon but if one does one ends up paying an emotional and psychological price. This may be one reason for the until-divorce-do-us-part marriages.

Girls has well as boys like to boast about conquests...it's very likely a lot of the girls you think aren't virgins are. You're definately NOT a prude...16 is young...wait until you're an adult & really trust your emotions. It's worth the wait to have your first time be with someone you love & who loves you...sex without love is just an act.
