Looking at couples....?

Question

You look at some couples and see one that's very good looking and one that's not. Could it be that say a woman gets a guy that's not very good looking (where she is) so that he's more prone not to wander and vice versa or is it just chance that they found each other?

It's more likely that they are just kindred spirits rather than the good looking one getting a less attractive partner so they don't wander ... how do you explain two good looking people together or the fact that the ugly one has wandered?

Would a beautiful woman deliberately set out to get married to a dog (or vice versa)?

Truth is, when you love somebody and they treat you well then that's what makes them attractive. Being with somebody who initially attracted you and then realising that they are a self absorbed, rude and selfish moron suddenly makes them appear to be incredibly ugly

they could be george clooney and still be an insufferable git, which can turn even the most beautiful of humans into quasimodo the minute they open their mouth.

you shouldn't look at the surface too much, or judge other people before you know them

I like to think they are not superficial & are attracted to the person on the inside. A lot of times, these kind of couples were just friends first, but over time became attracted to each other's personalities. I hope NO ONE choses a partner based on likelyhood of them cheating - that would be showing pretty low self-esteem. Plus, that type of person will probably have many other issues that would eventually drive someone away, don't you think?

Maybe they are attracted to eachother. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Maybe he treats her like no other man has and he fulfills her every need and desire. You're on the outside looking in. She may be completely evil and he is with her because she is beautiful and can show her off. You just never know.

My boyfriend isn't the handsomest guy out there, but he loves me completely. He is so good to me and that makes all the difference. Looks are nice, but after a while you get used to the looks and if there is nothing to back it up, who cares how he looks. I would rather be with a guy who is loving and funny and smart.

I don't think so... people date who they like. To be honest looks has nothing to do with cheatin, because from my personal experiences men tend to cheat down. If a person wants to cheat I don't care how cute you are and uncute she is, it's not about that. They just happen to find each other thats all. Jay Z and Beyonce' for example. Beyonce is ten times better lookin then Jay z but I doubt she got with him because she feels like he won't cheat because she is pretty. She likes him, and thats about all.

Neither...Brad pitt has wrinkles throughout his brow and bags below his eyes, jolie has bony hands, and tattoos throughout her back (no longer attractive) Beckham is okay, yet posh has pretend boobs, and an unnatural skinny physique. She grow to be lots greater useful looking in her spice woman hi days.

Well in my past I would date guys who I didn't find attractive although they would approach me first. Usually I ended up in a relationship with them because of their personality and caring loving ways. However, sometimes I have regretted it because I always wonder what type of guy could I have attracted and how much better could I have really done. In the end I fell in love with an average looking guy!!!! Well......................hope that helps!
