i am just the worlds biggest queen fan having said that they are not as good now the main man freddie mercury is no longer with them what does everyone out there think

I'm not that big of a queen fan. Their music is a bit dated and does not have the lasting power of say the stones, or led zeppelin or even Pink Floyd
PS: I agree with the MSNBC article above, except for U2, Velvet Underground and the Ramones.

although freddy died a little before i was born, I will have to agree with you. I realised that, about a month ago. I saw a really awsome laser projection in the Vienna planetarium on their music...with videos and concert scenes...I just loved it and since then Queen rulz for me :D

i think your totally rite mate i am one of their biggest fans 2. Last weekend i went to Blackpool to see legends and freddie mercury a bloke who was taking him off was so like him i shed ed a tear he was that good i advise you to go an see it i will be again soon good to know theirs still fans out there?

Queen was certainly entertaining...but not the best.
I'd go with The Who. Maybe even Pearl Jam
