By practising. talk the language everytime you can to get fluency, it's the only way. Also, read a lot, watch the news and get exposed the most possible to the language.

You may want to try looking up 1 or 2 words in the dictionary a week, learn their meaning and use it in a sentence when you talk to people. You'll help improve your language and vocabulary. It will not hurt to try. Good luck!
