Some guys actually enjoy that sensation. It is a bit weird in my book, since that area is in fact rather sensitive to the touch.
I imagine most men would enjoy a good "scrotum massage"; some kind of "ball play" which is not just fun and pleasurable, but also very good in keeping the male organ in check; a regular testicle massage routine is recomended for men over the age of 30.
But in this case, I imagine your man might have a different set of sensitivity in his testicles to have them squeezed like that. There's also the possiblity that he may enjoy that particular type of pain. Who knows?
All you need to know is to remember that not all men enjoy this particular type of activity!

He must have been a freak. I suppose it could have helped him get closer to climax by forcing semen out unnaturally. He probably gradually squeezed harder and harder each time he masturbated for years before he met you, so he was used to it by the time he asked you to do it. That is not normal or healthy. Apparently there are some very weird people out there. If you look around on the Internet, you'll see all sorts of examples of that. Some people are just freakishly insensitive to pain. IN my opinion, it is pleasurable to get my nuts played with at times. Some guys are masocists, they love pain. I do not, on the other hand. He is just a freak, and he has his thing.

Different strokes for different folks. I sure would not want my nuts squeezed like that but if he likes it, go for it. 95% of men would have hit the ceiling if they had that done to them.

Different people like different forms of stimulation.
While "Squeezing" (vice grip like) wouldn't be a turn on for me, i have found that my 'sack' is very flexible and can be "pulled" and "kneaded" like dough without any pain.
