I think it's more accurate to say that all empires "slowly fall apart"....not collapse. The USA will not end overnight. It will be a process set over many years/generations. And, who's to say the decline has not already begun?

If, and When the United States collapses, the entire world will shudder as the many hundreds of subsidized blocks around the world will collapse with it.

Currencies will be devalued, corporations and networks of industry will have both immediate and long term reversals.

Lifetime savings will amount to pennies and both the rich and the poor will level off in the fight to survive.

According to estimates, if it happens it will happen sometime around the year of 5674.A.D.

Financial consultants are now recommending that we start buying foreign currency as a hedge against that event.

U.S would be THE MOST STRONGEST EMPIRE in the history of mankind...and empires do not fade away by a single devastating event...contineous events taking place in international scenerio weaken an empire...you have an example of russia...russia didnot fade away like this,the whole world witnessed events in form of COLD WAR which lead to demolition of russian empire...Nobody could have predicted it...not even the presidant of usa could have predicted russias demolition when cold war took place...
As I said there are multiple factors which take place at the same time which results in an empire weakening...economy,war,conspiracies.etc.
I dont know when USA empire will weaken but I can tell you this that it will definately be a TURNING POINT in modern eras history....

They are in the midst of collapsing financially, given their pre-occupation with spending foolishly to keep oil executives happy. That plus the fact the Chinese have hoarded one trillion American dollars, they are financially screwed. Their manufacturing has been sent overseas and out the country so more business men and women can anhance profits. They no longer are capable of building upon a huge industrial base. Housing boom is a thing of the past, so many citizens are sitting with large mortages and nowhere near that amount in equity in their properties. They are screwed. They will go with a wimper. I believe that they no longer are a world power.

When the government collapses it will come under rule of a different governing style, like a dictatorship. I think they are slowing taking away our rights to make the transitions easier for us to deal with.
