whatever happened to people working things out and staying with a committment? If there's infidelity or abuse, that's one thing but all these people divorcing over stupid stuff like..."doesn't pick up clothes from the floor enough..."picks his nose in public"..."she's so bossy"....etc. What is going on these days?

I think its a throw away society. It seems alot of people think it would be easier to walk away than to stick with it and work thinks out. Its sad but true. Its also a sign of weakness I think if you can't work on it first. If most people that wanted to walk away from a marriage would look at the situation honestly that would mean they would have to look at there own faults as well as their partners and some people just can't handle that. Now if its abuse than I wouldn't work on it but things like you say, the simple things people just don't want to cope.

There are so many reasons why people are so quick to get a divorce. For me, the main reason is that they don't know their partner well enough to stay in the relationship. Marriage is a sacred thing and only people who know and love each other should get married. Marriage is not like rice that you put inside your mouth that you can just spit anytime you get burnt.

Because it has been made so easy to get divorced over stupid little things. It is also because so many people get married with out the thought that marriage is for ever. For many it is just something to do for the moment and when it does not suit them any longer they just walk away.

i want to know the same thing i will be married for 8 years and it is going good if i was to divorce him over something stupid we shouldn't have got married people need to stop and think before they just go and get a divorce u married that person for a reason it had to be love dont
let love go over ur spouse not picking up his or her clothes

Afraid of commiment , and just not ready for the real thing .wasnt ready. marriage is as a relationship but with one partner , these days women and men dont think much of them selves and others. All that people seem to be consern with is the flush, And when thats over
Than what on to the next, you have to stick it out
God says he s against Divorce , But i guess
who cares what god say or thinks ,seem to me

People get fed up and get greedy, They feel that getting their share, the utopia they seek, moving on and finding a better solution is easier than forgiving. Still looking for a perfect solution which is not to be because any relationship will need total commitment and compromise.

people like to make stupid problems just to get out of relationships.I think people are in too big of a rush to get married,and,don't give it enough time to really get to know each other.So therefor divorce rate is up.But I believe life is too way too short to live unhappy that might be another reason.If people would spend the time that they make to fight ***** whatever,on making relationships work it might just do that.What a silly waste huh

well both my husbands cheated on me, and there was no way I was forgiving that. No amount of counselling sessions would have changed that, so I dumped both of the wasters.
