How do you unlock more dogs in Nintendogs???

i was just wondering because i hav been trying to but was not successful.

Depending on what version of Nintendogs you have, the answer varies - but its all about trainer points accumulated. See http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/ds/list_n.html to choose your version, then check the Cheats & Secrets tab to see the amount of points necessary to unlock each breed. Example - if you had the Labrador & Friends version, you'd check http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/ds/code/928837.html and see:

Go to bark mode with a player with differant varieties of dogs and when you get back home, the type of dog should apear in he kennel. It's what happened to me anyway
