take out A: and put DVD drive in. Does it create any problem. No more floppy

A: drive is your Floppy Disk Drive...not the same as DVD, but it will not cause a problem, as long as you don't need to use a floppy disk.

Floppy drive is not needed for the computer to work properly.

Depends, you'll definately need the A drive if you have SATA hard drive as its the only to to install the drivers before installing xp (worst cast scenario you need to reinstall XP), but if you PC supports booting to USB, and you have a thumb drive than you wouldn't really need the A drive anymore, but its still good to have it there as a just in case scenario.

now a days most of the drivers comes with setup CD so u dont need that nasty floppys...but still u need it in some instands like installing sata driver..

the floppy doesn't interfere with the hdd because it uses a different ide cable

U NO WUT????? JUST DONT DOWNLOAD ANYTHING......U HAVE TO CD THEN U CAN INSTALL IT....CUZ IF U WANNA DOWNLOAD ....ITS FREE RIGHT..THEN ITS VIRUS....SO JUST BUY CD........AND THERE NO PROBLEM......TAKE CARE
