well firstly you are a rarity so i should think that makes you more attractive in some ways. you should be honest with her if you are close. if you are just interested in a shag to rid yourself of the virgin label then a casual fling rather than close relationship can seem like a easy solution. think about what you really want - is it her or is it to get rid of your virgin label. if its the former, be honest with her, if its teh latter then you could be kissing her goodbye before you've even begun

let it happen, if you want to have sex with a professional lady that's up to you. Don't do it because of what girls will think, lets face it, it seems much worse than not having had sex. If you want sex have it, if you want to wait until its not paid for etc, then wait.
I would not have a problem sleeping with a virgin, and neither would any of my friends. I am 22 and have friends that are still virgins. They all personally have a problem with it, like you. But as a group we couldn't care less.
I personally would rather sleep with a virgin, than a guy that has had sex with a prostitute. Although I would understand.
If you do see a professional, make sure you are 100% safe. condoms etc. I would also use a strong anti-bacterial soap afterwards. Its not that she personally is unclean its just that some diseases and bugs are so easily transferred.

my hubby was a 26 yrr old virgin too. he was shy around women and watned to " settle down" and get married. We knew each other and he was " just a guy i knew" . I invited him to dinner, and we have been together 10 1/2 years and were married for 10 of them. If you have a friend u know, let her show you the ropes. I will tell you from experience, ok?? we women can't STAND having a man who don't know what the f**k they are doing in bed!!! I had to teach hubby EVERYTHING, and yes, i mean, EVERYTHING, except how to penentrate. he had PE, and it was frustrating! imagine not being able to ***, for 12 hours, and just as you are about there, you have to start over!!! that, my friend, is the true meaning of hell! Don't go to a hooker!! you don't know if she has AIDS or not!! is losing your virginity worth dying for?? I am a former hooker, and i am one of the lucky ones that didn't get the "A", as they called it back then. find a good friend, who is willing to teach you all you want to know, and don't beafraid to ask questions, read all you can ( may i suggest the Kama Sutra? or sex for dummies?) i am serious. Hubby read all he coyuld and now he is one of the best in bed I have had ( even if i had to be the one to teach him! lol) well, good luck and take care.

I lost my virginity at 22, not quite the same age as you but you should just let it happen. Don't worry about your age, you won't be the oldest virgin ever. Don't worry about coming too fast cos that happens to a lot of men when they have sex for the first time, and quite frankly, any woman that finds it funny that you are a virgin at 26 isn't worth the time of day.

I am guessing you have waited this amount off time because you want your first time to be with somebody special and not just a drunken one night stand. I was in your same position and took the drunken option, Which I still regret and did nothing for my confidence with women in the end. My advice would be to wait for somebody special and be honest, they will respect you even more then you could ever expect (Good Luck).

Be PROUD! you simply didn't have sex for the curiosity of it. I believe you should wait until your marriage night. However, you may have other ideas. I don't think you will appear stupid. I would encourage you to wait and experience it w/someone you love and trust. Please do not go to a prostitute--as she can't teach you about love. That is the most important component to having a wonderful sexual relationship!

26 is quite old in this day and age to never have had sex. i wonder about a few things and don't think i can answer until you give up a little more info about potential hangups you may have, such as: have you tried to get laid and couldn't perform? are you afraid of girls? have you had any relationships at all? do you wack it regularly? do you think of vagina as a venus fly trap? do you lose control and soil yourself during the dry hump stage? do you like to wiff and sniff down under?

You'll be fine. If she loves you she'll help you. (Your future girlfriend, not the professional lady). who's to say your girl would have had sex before anyway? It really isn't all that complicated when you get down to it...GOOD LUCK! Don't let it get in the way.

Take it one day at a time, a friend of mine was 29 had the same sort of feelings about it. Take it slow and don't press yourself into it otherwise you won't be performing as you'll be stressing yourself out over it.
