im a 14 yr old indian and i have a very joyful like personality (im always smiling and joking around) plus im very intellegent too plus im very good in sports but whenever i try to have fun with them they say im strange and go away......why do they do that>?

I have the same issue and for the longest. I've been called weird and all that by people my age. Hardly can ever get along with them and I'm twenty. The only thing that I can say from my past experiences just be yourself and don't let it get to you. I've suffered way too long b/c I always believed somethings was wrong with me that I could never sense but everybody else knew.
I told myself for years that I was messed up until I believed it one day. My best advice is don't have your prejudices and be friends with everybody. Not just a certain crowd, b/c I did that and I endend up lonely or at least friendless for a long time.

They are just ignorant.Maybe they are shy around you and act that way to impress others? You should try hanging out with other people who don't treat you that way, if you become friends with these people that walk away, you will most likely end up hurt because they don't sound like if they would be nice friends to anybody. Like I said look for other people to hang out with.

Find new friends, you know who are compatible. Probably the ones you're trying to impress are jerks. You dont have to fret about it , you'll just have to make some new.
