Why should a CNN anchor have to apologize?

Have you noticed in many ways woman are becoming more "empowered"...the media in commercials and in ad's portray's their husbands/boyfriends as stupid and inept? Sure seems a strange way to make yourself feel good...

Sure CNN and the woman should apologize. She should lose her job too. CNN is doing a public service, the word here is public, I don't want to hear the woes of some boring old woman and her family, that's not what CNN is about. Or is it??
