Like I have always said, freedom of speech only applies to the lying left, all others are hate mongers. Perfect example look a Jim W lies and taunts, but do it to him and he reports you.

Good question because.. you bring to light what I have said all along... Al Gore and Tipper Gore. along with Bill and Hillary Clinton, John and Theresa Kerry.. etc. are not Liberals.. they are upper class, Money People that feign liberalism so that they can have a place in the system, but that's all it is. You calling them Liberal does not make it so.. face it you call pretty much everyone a liberal or leftist.. hell yesterday you said Hitler was leftist so that doesn't mean much coming from the biggest mouth in Texas.. but if Al Gore were a Liberal.. or more correctly a True Statesman, he would have fought with his last breath the 2000 election, but alas he is not and I blame Al Gore's willingness to keep the status Quo every bit as much as I blame Curious George for the state of things..
PS... I never liked Def Leopard that much either.

Yes I do.
If you are a Liberatarian objecting to censorship, why aren't you picking on Ted Stevens also? Why is it just about the Gore's and the Clinton's?

I remember Frank Zappa taking on Tipper over her sanctimonious zeal.
But to be fair - which of course is not your aim, it is to bait Democrats or liberals - many conservative Christian Republicans were all in Tippers court! Strange alliance. I have known many more conservatives spouting the need for various forms of censorship than liberals. It is their tradition.
I see your Yes-Man andy g has given you his nod again! Woo hoo! He is another proponent of Hitler's Big Lie policy. blah blah blah "liberal" blah blah blah "insert lie here" blah blah blah "shiraz is right as always" blah blah blah.
Great act you guys have going there!
I did a short study last night of your most recent 100 questions (as of that point last night). seems he received 17 best answers from you. shutupdummy - another yes man - received 13 best answers. Jesi, who seems to think for herself, received 13 best answers.
Edit: right on cue! There is your other Yes-Man John Skerry! You gave him 5 best answer awards... not that it matters, just interesting.

Everyone thinks of the political spectrum as a stright line with Radicals at one end and fascists at the other, with the two poles being diametrically opposed.
I see it as more like a circle, with the two opposites sharing certain characteristics. Communists liberals like Stalin tried controlling his people with the same iron-fisted ruthlessness employed by fascists like Idi Amin. (Well not exactly alike, Stalin just killed his countrymen, Amin ate a few.)
And I do have to agree with you, I don't have children yet. But if/when I do, I don't want any of these morally questionable political figures to dictate to me how to raise my family.

I don't know what country Jim W lives in, but the Democrats practice censorship every day. They drummed Tom Delay out of the government for something he said to Strom Thurmond. They turn off microphones for students who dare to utter the name of God. They ban the expression of religion. They label thoughts and words as Hate Speech and pass special laws to punish anyone who uses or thinks them.
But in their unique double standard, it's always ok to bash a conservative, to tell vicious lies about a republican president, to blame white republicans for NOs problems, when the state and local govt is all democrats and the mayor is black.
It's okay in their world for Jesse Jackson and Andrew Young and Ray Nagin and Al Sharpton and Michael Moore and Al Franken to scream racist ideas and vulgar lies at the tops of their voices. But don't you pray at a commencement, or we'll arrest you.
So yeah, I believe Tipper supported censorship. Frankly, what she was up to was mild compared to what the rest of the party is about.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS - Hey Kookoo, I think censorship fits fine into the liberal plan of government controlling your life. We are too stupid to educate our own kids, so we must send them to government schools. We would never do the right thing with our money, so the govt (when the libs control it) just keep raising taxes to take away our money so they can spend it the 'right way'. We are lazy and selfish and like our comforts, such as our own automobile, so it becomes the govt's job to tax that auto, tax the gas, tax the parking, and give my money to money-losing mass transit and then tell me that's what I should ride. We prefer living in the suburbs, so the cities tax us more and use the money to build hideously expensive govt city housing that nobody wants to live in and requires constant subsidies.
So when it comes to speech, we're obviously not qualified to know what to say, think, read or listen to, so the government can censor that for us. Why doesn't that fit your model of good liberal thinking?

Of course, every 'tolerant' liberal promotes censorship. Liberals are nothing more than totalitarian by nature.
