Now, now quiet, lad... there's loads of Irish, too. Lots of people are watching too many bad American films. They just can't help sounding like that. Though now I start thinking about it - how do you know what they sound like? If you judge by the writing, there just seem to be a lot of people around with bad grammar and worse spelling, but that doesn't automatically make them American.
