Since this is in Visual Arts, do you mean to ask the preference of skin colour when drawing or painting a person? It depends on what the artist is trying to show.
But your nickname is Borderline and if you're asking for real people, it's not the skin colour that matters, it's what's inside that skin.

well i'm a red head , so i always will have very fair skin , But I hit the tanning beds to "fake & Bake" .. so i'm tan too. Skin color dont mean a thing though !!
