A bachelors allows an individual to study what particular field he/she wants to focus but acquiring masters put one on a better field where by he can fully practise psychology without necessarily being an assistant or learning from the ranks

A doctoral degree is typically required. It consists of 5 to 7 years of graduate study.

A bachelor's degree in psychology qualifies a person to assist psychologists and other professionals in community mental health centers, vocational rehabilitation offices, and correctional programs.

not a lot a minimum element of preparation at the very least element of intelligence. i have met some extremely fantastic those who in no way graduated from severe college, and a couple of school graduates who've surely no problem-free experience by any means. So preparation element could be deceptive.

I believe you need a BS, and be licensed by the state, although most are MS or above.

it depends where you live.
some countries don't even have the title registered, so you can be a complete charlatan and call yourself what you want, including "psycologist".
Now, a psychiatrist is a MD, with a complex specialization.

I think it's a matter of licensing, as well as education.
