There are so many that come to mind but I'll go with the first one I thought of. U2 in Cleveland about 1985. It was the tour for "The Unforgetable Fire". Bono pulled a girl out of the audience and danced with her and hugged her. It felt as if he were hugging me and my memories of him on stage he seems as big as life even though I was way in the back. I'm not ashamed to admit that there were times at that show that I was so moved with their energy and spirit, I had tears streaming down my face. I don't think I have ever cried at any other concert so maybe this may be the most memorable.

Marillion when they played the Park West in Chicago on October 2, 2004. I've been going to concerts for over 20 years, and this was the very first time that I saw the crowd refuse to leave after the house lights went up. The band ended up coming back out and doing one more song. Amazing concert.

Without a doubt, the best concert I saw was Springsteen's "The River" tour in 1981 at the Philly Spectrum. Half the audience knew the words to ALL of his songs and it was just one big party. He played for 4 HOURS and even threw himself out into the crowd. He jumped from the stage, still playing his guitar, and let the crowd hold him above their heads. When he wanted back on stage, he just pointed in that direction and the crowd moved him back to the stage.
It was a fabulous experience and the best of 30 years of concert attendance.

It's definetely gotta be the Hinder/ Theory of a Deadman concert I went to last month. They rock! Other performers included Faktion and Lynam. The show was great! I love Hinder! They're awesome with an incredible stage presence!

The best concerts I've been to musically:
*Tori Amos - Under the Pink tour in '94 (Sanders Theatre in Cambridge, MA)
*Pearl Jam - Ten tour in '92 (Student Union Ballroom at UMass)
*Living Colour - Time's Up tour in '90 (Town & Country in London) [missed the first half of the show and they were still amazing]
*Jeffrey Gaines - Somewhat Slightly Dazed tour in '94 (Paradise Rock Club in Boston, MA) [full band show, 2 1/2 hours, played everything from his first album, everything from his second album, b-sides, covers, unreleased songs...]
*Moxy Fruvous - Wood tour in '94 (Middle East Upstairs in Cambridge, MA) [first time seeing them - unbelievable experience]
*Bruce Horsnby - A Night on the Town tour in '90 (Great Woods in Mansfield, MA) [Cowboy Junkies were supposed to open, but she was sick, so Bruce came out early, turned it into "the Great Woods Bar & Grill and play[ed] til they kick us out" {took requests for the majority of the show}]
best concert theatrically -
hands down KISS in 2000 (Great Woods in Mansfield, MA)

Ozzfest 2001 in Charlotte, NC. I saw performances by Mudvayne, System of a Down, Black Sabbath, Marilyn Manson, Papa Roach, Slipknot, and Disturbed. I got to meet Marilyn Manson, Linkin Park, and Kud from Mudvayne. It was probably the most awesome day of my life! (Other than the day my son was born, of course.)
