OK.. seriously, if her reason for not wanting you to have the bike is financial and you can't afford it.. that's a given. If it's for your safety, make sure that you take a bike course and ride safe. Find out what her true reason is for not allowing you to have it. If money isn't an issue, offer to buy her something of equal value or take her on a vacation.

First off can you afford a bike? If that is not the problem, then maybe let her know that you can take safety courses from someone that is licensed. Try that a bike can be cheaper to operate than a car. Or, that there are lots of safety equipment that can be on bike to save you in a fall.
Also unless you actually connect with something while moving it is usually pretty hard to dump a bike.

Tell her it comes with a coffin. I used to ride, but it was getting a little too dangerous out on the road for my liking. Take a motorcycle riders training course before you purchase a bike. You may feel like having a bike is not really for you after the course.

You can't, she loves you and doesn't want to see you die on a death machine. I'm guessing from the name that you live in Florida, lots of traffic,LOTS of old people that don't pay attention. If you have a need to ride a bike, why not get into motor cross. This at least, believe it or not is safer.

Get her interested too...Say its not just for you....It's for both of you to take long rides in the countryside, set up a picnic under the stars......stuff like that LOL.....maybe that will peak her interest....Let her pick out her own helmet,...heck...even the bike!!!! if she's interested and it ultimatley gets you your bike, why the heck not?
