Hello dear!
If you carefully read Genesis, you will read that after Cain killed Abel, he went to the land of other people where he married women and got children! According to Genesis, Adam and Eve were not the first people, they were the ones that Jews are coming from! Of course this is only symbolic!

Cain and Abel's problem occurred after MANY children and Grandchildren and GreatGrandchildren...of Adam and Eve. They lived to be 900 or so, in a time of no TV or birth control! This was a time very close to sin first entering our world so no ill effects of incest (not even a taboo on it yet). You can figure out how many people there may have been. And remember : Adam and Eve at 100 years old were still pretty young and vibrant! (and horny too).

The answer is quite simple. Adam and Eve did not just have cain ,abel, and seth. They had many other children, too, some boys, some girls. The disgusting fact is that the brothers had to sleep with their sisters.

If you really want to know, you just have to read the genesis, is easy to found, is the first book in the Bible and you will find the answer in the firsts chapters. Adam and eve had other children (including girls) besides the 3 you mentioned. You also have to remember that in those days people lived a lot more than now, and there was no tv, so they could have lots of kids before they were really old.
My advice if you really want to know go directly to the source, read the bible.

I'm sorry, but some of these responses warrant this...
Of course it only makes sense that people would have lived a lot longer back in the times of Genesis, because everyone knows that hospitals and medicine were so much better than they are today.....900 years? That was young right? Nevermind the fact that there was no official calendar system at that time. That could have been 900 cycles of the moon for all anyone knows.
The Bible...one of the better works of fiction of our time, don't you think?

They also had other children.
Additionally, there may or may not have been another wife of Adam, named Lilith.

Part of article
When I was born, my Aunt Libby put a scarlet ribbon over my cot. My mother thought this was to ward off the Evil Eye (Why not? Everything seems to be oriented towards warding off the Evil Eye. You can’t be too careful. Lives are at stake.) It turned out that the red ribbon was to ward of Lilith, Queen of the Demons. I used to think Lilith, Queen of the Demons was cool until I found out that (according to the 17th Century Kabbalistic poet N.H. Bacharach) she causes Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. When you hear your child giggling in the night, wrote Bacharach, Lilith is playing with the baby. Just reading that in a book on Jewish mythology made me want to simultaneously cry, hide under my bed and run upstairs to check on my daughter.
BTW I tied red ribbons on my daughters' cribs!

This is a great question. I asked my mother this question (a devout Christian) she scoffed and never answered. That puts a hole in the theory of Christian creation. The only possible answer could be that Eve and Adam had other kids and they all shared an incestuous relationship.
