I have never worn glasses before, and never paid any attention to them, so have no idea about style from glasses.
What is the style these days for men... if is the black frame ones that are rectangular...
Steel or plastic?
(Need to look the business-type for my new graduate management job.)
Posting links to pictures of some would be great,
Thanks

:) Well, whats the fashions these days for mens glasses, or the most popular types.
(I do understand that facial characteristics will determine the size etc. but surely it won't determine the colour, shape etc will it?)

Definitely the black-framed, rectangular ones. Not only are they flattering, but very fashionable.
When choosing glasses, remember not to skimp - unlike your outfit, these you will wear EVERY DAY. Splurging for the hottest ones will be well-worth your investment.
A man can go from zero to hero in 0-seconds flat by changing his old-fashioned, gold-rimmed glasses in for cool, stylish designer ones!
Here is a site with some good selection - good luck!

Here is a tip from a glasses wearer: If u have short hair a lot of glasses will form ridges in your head and hairline so the lines show when you take the glasses off.
To avoid this get the type of frames that bevel slightly out from the head and do not press inward on the temples or side of head. The indentation will go away also if you already have the line.
These frames now available at Lenscrafters etc. look sharp in the current styles

No-one here can advise you well on this. The style of glasses that will suit you depends on the shape and size of your face plus your hairstyle. You need to get some advice from the optician - get them to show you some different styles and see how they look.

I am not sure - but your local lensecrafters or other eye wear store will be able to help you be in style - no problem. They have honest and helpful people that will find what you need and assure if the style looks good on you. Remember, what style one may wear may not look good or the same on another person.

Depends on the shape of your face. For example, I have a round face, not fat, just round....like Denzel Washington. So the only shades that look good on me are the Aviators. You should try different pairs and just see what looks good on you. And while you're at it, ask a chick for their opinion, that always helps and is a good ice breaker if she's a looker. Good Luck!

frameless or steel or really thin black frames depending on your hair color and face shape...take a woman with you when purchasing them...you can ususally get a very nice looking frame without paying way too much.

It depends on the person. What would look good on one man may not look good on another.
