Nope.
After we die, we go in a coffin. Or perhaps an urn.
Our 'selves', our 'spirits', our consciousness simply collapses and vanishes.

Hell (Hades) was the funeral pyre outside the walls of a city. Why would you want to spend eternity there? Not that you would. Heaven is a misinterpretation of a dimension of a higher vibration that we are not able to experience at our current state of being, simply because we have a slower wavelength. Think about it...we cannot see infrared or ultraviolet past a certain point, only color and visible light. They all exist at the same time, though. And we have accepted that these wavelengths exist. Why would it be so difficult to accept that after leaving this vessel of organic matter, that the higher energy of our thoughts and life force are able to rejoin that energy? It all fits into the law of conservation of mass and energy...

I believe hell is here on earth
Heaven is peace after death
But I believe in reincarnation for some souls so I'm damned no matter what according to my Catholic teachings
This is not meant to be a smart-*** answer

ummm no, to the first question. Hell is a scare tactic, and Heaven is a lie. They are used by religions as a control. Essentially, they are symbols for consequences. The symbolism is simple.
Hell: You may not be punished now for a bad act, but it may and I stress MAY come back to you.
Heaven: You may not be rewarded now for a good act, but it may and again I stress May come back to you.
That is all they are. A bedtime story, and a control. Symbolism warped into myth warped into "fact". Give me a break.
