Will the Mets go 19-13 the rest of the season and win 100 games?
They're going to win the NL East, they're obviously the best team in baseball at 81-49 (Yes the Tigers have a better record by a 1/2 game, I know). But the Mets are doing this without Pedro Martinez for the better part of the season and without Glavine the last few weeks. No pitching? No problem? We just scored double digits all the time.
Jose Reyes or Carlos Beltran for NL MVP!

Heye dj, how about Reyes for MVP? He's the best all around player in the NL I think.

Why the hell is everybody questioning the Mets pitching staff????
If the pitching is so bad, yet the Mets are dominating the National League. By the time the playoffs come, Pedro and Glavine will be fully healthy and rested... and their pitching has not been that bad, even with them out!
The Mets will def. win more than 100 games this year...
Everybody that doesn't know the Mets, doesn't know what the Mets offense if capable of.

I definitely think the Mets will win 100 games. Like you said, they're pretty much the best team in baseball right about now. ^_^
And I love your choices for NL MVP. Reyes and Beltran are 2 of my favorite players. Reyes leads the league in stolen bases and runs, and I think last night Beltran tied him for the latter. I'll be happy if either one of them gets the coveted title, as long as it's a Met.
Let's Go Mets! ^-^

I think they'll win 100 but hopefully more. Although they've had their hard times (with pitching) and hitting slumps, they always seem to pull it together. I think they have a great chance in representing the NL in the World Series, but I am worried about what their interleague record. Either way, I'll be sitting at home cheering for the Mets just like I did 20 years ago.
Also I think Beltran for MVP. David Wright was a strong contender but his recent slump blew it for him.
Jose Reyes has been great but I think that Beltran has stepped up alot in much needed situations. I think the MVP definetly has to go to a NY Met!

Who cares. With that pitching staff, the Mets are going to get knocked out in the first round.
Pedro is falling apart. Glavine hasn't been fooling anybody the last couple of months. Trachsel has no business pitching in the majors. El Duque is more broken down than a 1982 Yugo.
John Maine is the only reliable starter you have... heading into the post season. Nothing's been done to address it. And it's going to kill you guys in the playoffs.

Don't matter. Whe we reach Subway Series time, its all over for you and we'll get our 27th ring.
And I don't think either one of those players will win MVP. Ryan Howard from the Phillies will win it because they will win the Wild Card. If they don't, probably Reyes because he has 50+ SBs, like 20 3Bs, and a bunch of doubles and homers. He's a great all-around player, but not better than Jeter. But he's still good.

Yup. They get the luxury of facing the Marlins, Rockies, Pirates, Nats, Braves and Phillies.
