i had played some contest 5 yrz back ....and yesterday i received the letter saying that i am the winner !!...lol...well the letter is dated Jan 01...okay...so now wht !!...can i get the prize or shud i juz forget abt it

how the hell did that happen?! u should try calling if u have a number....hell id STILL try to claim my prize. wats the worse that can happen? they wont give it to you. : ) goodluck!

THough u need to find out if they have a time limit.
It may already be too late, but it wont cost u anything to find out.
In the case of powerball, isnt it 60 to 90 days or similar?

you should try to see if you won...i found a $75 check amonst some old papers (5 yrs old) from insurance claim. i deposited it and it was paid within 7 days...twas cool.
