You have 2 options:
1) Buy Motrola Phone Tools 4. That is the software you need to connect the phone to your computer directly via USB. $49 US

2) If you are using the SD memory card, then store/move all your pics to the memory card and use a memory card reader on your PC. Lots of new PC's these days have card readers, if not, you can buy a USB card reader.

You can access GPRS provided by your service provider and it is almost free or is very cheap you can download ring-tones, wallpapers from the given sites 1.www.jeewang.com, 2.www.maxcommodities.com, 3.www.loveguru.com and for your transferring of photos you can transfer them by using the bluetooth port. And you said that you are having the USB cable then you should have the software CD for synchronization (connecting mobile to system by USB) if you are not having it then you can download it from the Motorola site it won't cost you a penny. Then you can send the photos from your mobile to your computer. Oh one more thing you can download directly the ringtones and mp3 in your L6 by the help of USB when you get the software.

you particularly are in elementary terms leaving 2 ideas: tethering your laptop on your telephone by USB cable OR making use of bluetooth. in case you pick bluetooth, you will might desire to place your telephone in Discovery Mode. turn your computers bluetooth ON. whilst the two discover one yet another, basically circulate the media from laptop to telephone.
