Why do you need a visitor visa? Where are you from. I am Canadian and have been there with Europeans and Americans an even Nepalese and they didn't need one. If you don then yes it is an accepted practise in many countries that they will assist you with a tourist visa so you can come stay at their hotel. Just make sure you send it over a secured link.

I used to work in the hotel before. Those tourists who had boking with our hotel got visa service as well.
Actually no need sometimes even to have a hotel booking. Many Travel agencies can make tourist visa for 1 month for you. Just need to know people here
