my boyfriend went there to work and has been fine until last week. he was supposed to have a check for 700 dollars last friday 25th. we have a trac fone that we keep in contact with each other. i have called, texted, told him, via text, to call me on home phone collect and i've heard nothing. he has never, since he left in january, failed to get in touch with me every day. he uses friends phone if he has no minutes. im scared something has happened to him. PLEASE HELP FAST! i dont know what to do

Phone the non-emergency number for NOPD (504) 565-7500, and tell them you want to file a missing persons report. They should be able to accomplish this over the phone. They will also have more access to things like his credit card activity, etc.
Sure has my suspicion aroused.

i live somewhat close to new orleans and while it can be somewhat difficult to locate people helping to rebuild ( i assume thats what he's doing) its not like no one has access to any phone or computer what so ever. hopefully he just doesnt want to talk to you and thats the reason for lack of communication. I know it sounds mean, but hey, its better than the possible alternative. Try to contact his co-workers or their families. Good luck
