My boyfriends boots got sprayed by a skunk, really dont laugh they stink !!!! Is there anyway to get the smell out or are they gonners, There brand new :(

soak them in tomato juice for 24 hours! then wash them in the washing machine. good luck! It works!

Only thing I heard gets skunk smell out is to soak in tomato juice and i don't know if you want to do that.

Throw away the old brand new boots and get some brand new, brand new boots. Tomato sauce baths will get it off ones body but I don't think anything gets it completely out of clothing.

Myth Busters says tomato juice works. You may or may not want to try it on the boots, but they are ruined anyway, RIGHT?
There are also commercial products that remove skunk odor. Myth Busters tried them too, and found they work well.

You are supposed to lay in a bathtub full of tomatoe juice.It may sound gross but the acid in the tomatoe juice kills the odour.
