Just wondering, cause about half my year seems to hate my guts, but they don't even know me.

Leave them alone? What gives you the impression I want anything to do with them anyway? I was just wondering if people ever get past first impressions, when they don't really know the person.

It's good to be hated in the sense that people will remember you. Also in time people tend to become milder. Though it is rough to live it now, now! Nonetheless you have to just live with it and the best way to endure it is to show big indifference. People can somehow understand love and hate, but indifference bugs the $hyt out of them. Then with you showing no like or dislike you give them little to fuel their hate towards you.

It has been my experience that someone that hates you for no apparent reason that you could possibly think of, only has an underlying, jealousy or envy for you. They can't have or be as you are therefore it's easier to resent that person. Changing their mind is next to impossible, you just have to take it with a grain of salt and move on. Im sorry to hear about your loss if this was a close friend.

I don't think there's anything that you can do to change their mind. You can't make a person like you, it is up to them to decide if they like you or not. If a person hated me, I wouldn't waste my time trying to get them to like me again. I have better things to do in life and I will not let it bother me or worry about it.

Why waste your time? There is no need to kiss their a$$ just in the hopes of them liking you, they will never respect you for being an a$$ kisser.
