Makes no difference what the % is.

Sin is Sin.

Ever had a sexual thought that you new at a very young age (without anyone having to tell you) should not be shared with anyone?

How did you know it should not be shared with anyone?

You think we should all start sharing our sexual thoughts in front of your children and on every television show available?

Really, any study done would be wrong. None of the data can be trusted because we can't be sure if people answered honestly. Example, if you're a 17 y/o gay guy and someone walks up to you and asks your sexual orientation when you're standing near the captain of the football team and his friend, the preacher's son, what are you going to say?
You can't just look at the numbers. You have to look at how they were obtian. It's VERY, VERY easy to play with the numbers in a situation like this. You also have to look at what the numbers mean. They could have excluded bisexuals in order to make the numbers lower, or included them to make them higher. There are a LOT of ways to make the numbers say what the reaserchers want them to say. You must also examine each of the reasercher's credibility and why they did the reaserch. If they did the study because they were paid to by a GLBT or anti-GLBT organization, odds are they played with the numbers to benifit their paymaster.

Figures don't lie, but liars sure can figure, and boy, you can figure real good. Go to the British Gov. site on their study and census of gays in the UK. For the record, it was tallied at 11.25% with a Bisexual rate at 24.33%. Now, I don't know if you can do the math, given what I've seen, I'd have to say no, but numbers would mean that ..... wait for it, a whole 35.58% of population I.D. themselves as non-heterosexual. OOOOOHHHHH, that must just kill you to know that.

I also noticed your "facts" were somewhat dated, especially given several census' have taken place since. Also, you aren't taking into account that socialogically, being gay has only entered the comfort zone in the last 5 years or so with more people finally being comfortable enough to be out and be counted. As such your "stats" are not only dated, they are also questionable given the reason I just provided.

Lastly, smarten up, stop being an idiot and try, just this once to actually know what your talking about.

More tellingly, why do you say the rate is 2% when your own quoted research shows some studies prove it as high as 10.7, or as little as 0.6? Do you need a better education?

Nobody really knows, because of the social stigma attached to admitting homosexual behavior. Especially if someone is predominantly heterosexual but has had occasional homosexual contact.

Why does it matter? If there were only 10 gay men in the world, they would all still deserve the same respect, opportunities, legal protections and privileges afforded straight men.

The strength of the US consititution is that it has consistently protected minorities in our country from discrimination and exploitation by the majority.

I think that percentage you first quoted is higher. And I do agree that there are many closted people who are not straight but you might never know it -- they might be married, are widowed, divorced, etc. and one just assumes they are straight. I think there are a MANY bisexuals and I think perhaps all men are bisexual to some extent. Many times I think people call themselves or others gay or straight when they are actually bisexual.

You lost your argument with your first example Kinsey states it is 9% of the population as 100% gay and only 29% of the population as 100% straight. That leaves 62% of the population as bisexual. So you can stop worrying and just accept that you are bisexual. You don't have to identify as gay you know you can always identify as g0y.

Precisely why would you think that anyone would accept statistics from a known Homophobe, especially one that would agree with any statistic to prove a disingenuous point? Going to quote the Widely Discredited Paul Cameron next?

You aren't proving anything. You don't even bother to hide your wildly outdated statistics.

I feel with all the people in the closet due to pressure from family's and people who hate all the numbers in the world won't be right. So we don't need better education we need more tolerance.
