Because there is no degree called "Associate/Bachelor of Lending." "Loan Officers" come off the street, often with NO experience, to a 100% commission job. He probably doesn't know what you're talking about. Once you find an HONEST, experienced loan officer ("consultant"), treat him/her like gold. The real estate market has a disproportionate number of whores, who exchange morales for a buck, every day.
