I would act totally professional and let her know that you are here to work your job. You didn't mention her annoying qualities but I have never been at a job where there wasn't one person that was annoying. I usually avoid any extra conversation, stick to my guns about getting my work done and end personal conversation, this is usually there way into a conversation or when they make it more personal. I also go for the satisfaction that my hard work will pay off and chances are you are not the only one annoyed by them! Give it time when she finds out that you are not playing her game, in time she will pester someone else!
Good luck!

Talk to her professionally about the things that she does that annoys you. Let her know that you guys are working and you can hang out after work. Once you tell her, she'll realize it and she will stop eventually. If not, ignore her and focus on your job. You're there to work and make money, NOT make new friends and socialize- that's after work. I hope my advice will help you. Good luck.

I have noticed that a lot of people especially woman can be the nicest outside of work but when they get into that work enviroment they have a "power" thing going on... maybe she had to show her "power" to you and by doing that is coming across as annoying. if tellng her how she is isnt working then try and ignore her and/or tell her that you need to concentrate more on your job when at work and you can talk or whatever at lunch/breaks/or afterwork... Good luck!

That's funny, my sister is excruciatingly honest, and people think she's not serious. She'll blurt out "God you're stupid!", and people think she's making a joke.
If I were you, I'd have a calm adult conversation with her that includes all of the things she does to annoy you, and tell her you'd like to see her change her ways, or leave you alone. Those are her choices. Then seriously ignore her when she acts up.

First off it is better to keep work at work and home at home, in all professionalism when you are at work and she annoys you take it to your supervisor or hers whichever the case my be. You have tried to talk to her and let her know what she is doing to annoy you and that did not work, so next step is go higher up. When she confronts you with this let her know I like you and you are my freind but only outside of work, when we are work we are to work and that is it. Be stern but as it was said kill her with kindness.

What is it she's doing at work that is so annoying? Try to tell her that at work you are too busy to socialize so you'll meet her afterwards. It's best that you both just get on with your jobs while at work and be social off hours.

take a crap load of post it notes and cover her office walls with them. And i mean wall paper it completely. Then on the outside of the office door leave a post it saying "HerName- we are out of post-its, can you pick up some more? -YourName"
Thatll keep her busy
