I want to delete the words that I have serched from the drop down list box permenently.How do I do that?

Go to Tools
Internet Options
Delete Cookies
Clear your history
You may need to Delete Your Files too
It will clear everything out; including your passwords, so remember them when you log back on.
I think that should do it.

If you have the Yahoo tool bar click on the drop down
and the end of the box where your type in your search request
seclect options and the bottom one will be clear history...
However keep in mind while it clears your tool bar
Yahoo records all your searchs and they may come back on their own....
there's no way to clear those as they let the fed's view them to catch the kiddy porn types...
