Baldness comes from your mother's side.

Baldness is a hereditary trait that is not only controlled by your father's DNA but also your mother's. (It is a common fallacy that the mother only carries the baldness trait, but that too is simply not true.) Male pattern baldness is caused by having a high level of testosterone. You may be losing your hair, but you can remind yourself that it is only because you are more manly.

Stress can contribute to hair loss as well. Adequate sleep, a healthy diet and exercise, combined with whatever stress-relief activities you engage in, like meditation, yoga, golf, a hobby, etc., will make you lose your hair less quickly perhaps, but if you are genetically predisposed to hair loss, this will only slow down the process.

You may want to look into minoxidil (Rogaine) or propecia. These are drugs that are shown to be effective in not only retarding male pattern baldness, but also regrowing lost hair. Rogain is over the counter and you can now even buy it at many grocery stores. Propecia is prescription only but easier to administer than the topical minixodil.

Lastly, while baldness is perhaps upsetting to the person going bald, it isn't going to make you any less than the person you already are. You won't lose your friends with your hair, nor will your prospects for dating really change. Keep a positive attitude and a sense of humor and your charisma won't take a hit with your receding hair line.

Every person is an individual and each person is different.
In my in laws family all the men went bald as they reached their twenty's, except for one cousin who had a mass of curly hair.
But don't fret, bald is in these days. Women are turned on by bald men, that is why so many men with full heads of hair are shaving it off.

Hey being bald is not that bad and actually can be advantageous to you. Baldness gives an aging man character. Baldness and gray hair all signs of an aging mans glory. Be proud of your baldness instead of scorning it.

Stop trippin. Hell if you are good looking shave all your hair off. There is nothing like a good looking, bald head man. Trust me. Plus the girls would love to rub on your bald head.
